Homeschool

Over more than ten years of homeschooling my kids (and reading tons of YA novels), I’ve noticed a lack of fiction books with homeschooled main characters. Yet homeschoolers, just like other kids, enjoy identifying with the heroes and heroines about whom they read.

In an effort to help fill that need, I’m writing two series with homeschooled main characters–series that should be as enjoyable for traditional-schoolers as they are for homeschoolers. In my Levi Prince YA fantasy series, preteens and teens can adventure with thirteen-year-old Levi in Terracaelum, a haven for mythical creatures. The Trojan Horse Traitor is now available through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Books a Million.

In my On the Brink new adult suspense series, older teens and adults can follow the journeys of three homeschoolers—Patience, Natalie, and Christy—as they step out on the brink of adulthood…and danger. Whitewashed is now available on Amazon.  Colorblind is now available on Amazon.

Below are free downloads of study guides I wrote for 8- to 10-year-olds. Feel free to use them at home or for a co-op class.
